UPDATE. The boots were delivered yesterday, and the free shipping was credited back an hour after ordering. The boots are quite nice, especially for $64. Carbon fiber shins & ankle guards, Schoeller Keprotec, Kevlar, and waterproof to boot I like the zipper & velcro closure, as well as the replaceable pucks. They have a mild heel,so I can hang them on the pegs when I'm chilling. The fit is true IMO. They call these track boots, but I would say occasional track day boot with a healthy dose of everyday thrown in for good measure. The puck is replaceable, but not sure where to get one. Overall, they are a steal.

Teknic Violator boots $99, regular $249. Not my taste as far as styling goes but it looks like they have all right safety features around the shin, ankle and toes.

Iron pony still has a link to the Icon Primary helmet for $49, but the link doesn't work.
