The left cuff adjusting tab on my riding jacket doesn't hold any more. The fuzzy part of the velcro is now super fuzzy and resembles an afro. besides taking it to a tailor and having them replace the tab of velcro, is there anything else I can do. I was thinking about giving the fuzz a little hair cut.!?!?!
If you give the fuzz a haircut, then there wont be enough to curl around the hard velcro parts. Its a shame that velcro does wear out but I think the only thing you can do is have new velcro sewn in.
Buy new velcro. A tailor will probably cost you $20, ou could carefully cut yours off and replace it yourself(or someone who knows how to sew for $5.
