Default and the end result?

So what was the end result? I just read the entire thread and it is like reading a book only to find the last chapters missing. Can you reply with the outcome of the Letter to the MA Attorney Generals Office?

Anxious to find out the end result and if you are satisified. I know you will never buy Vanson, but the $$$ still remains.

I've had my Vanson leathers for a long time (purchased in the late 90's) and they were made exactly to my specs and have held up great after many years of riding.

Their customer service was great at that time so I'm shocked to hear about this horror story. I even had my jacket rebuilt a few years ago, having all the yellow panels replaced with black, it came out great.

Unfortunately after reading this thread I will be reluctant to use them again unless they change the way they conduct business. It sounds like they got big heads once Vanson became a household name and forgot how to treat the customer.

As others have mentioned Dainese makes a really nice product, I may have to go that route the next time. I actually purchased a low budget Frank Thomas Full Suit, the quality is amazing for the price.

Bummer your experience sucked so bad. I actually went to the factory to be measured so there would be no miscommunication(was measured by the lady with an eastern block accent. Lithuania maybe?) My fit was perfect and all requests were met. Again, it stinks you had a bad time.

Nothing has changed with Vanson's customer service. Still TERRIBLE, from Mike to Nicole to Kim. They obviously have no clue that the consumer keeps them afloat. I have a Vanson jacket as well as gloves that I will be getting rid of at the end of the riding season. Think I'm going to give Dainese a try. I'm not saying they'll be better, but one thing for sure, their customer service will be much better than the Vanson experience.

Default Vanson

I finally received my pants and jacket after waiting over a year. I had since dropped about 12 lbs and let them know this. The pants were 2 sizes too big and I just sold them for a 3rd of what they cost me. It's a miracle but the jacket fits, though they neglected to send the infamous nylon stretch panels which the 5 year olds make in the back room.
The build quality leaves much to be desired and I expected more, maybe too much(maybe mine came from their new facility in Guatemala.....)
I have a Dainese full race suit and another all summer weight mesh jacket and the craftmanship is impeccable.

I make it a point to try and buy stuff made in the U.S.A, but when it comes to motorcycle apparel I'll be going elsewhere unless someone can tell me about a U.S manufacturer that excels.
