Default Monster ECU remapping

Hey all,

Got my MiVV Suono exhausts on order, want to get my 696 remapped. A friend is going to remap it for me. My question is, will I need to get it on a rolling road after or can I just ride it straight away?

You'll most likely need some tuning afterwards. I put termis on my 695 with the DP ECU and had to have it tuned, and I put a full arrow exhaust on my S2R1000 plus sent the ECU to desmo Porsche for a reflash and had to have that one tuned as well. Both were just dealer tuning but I'm sure putting them on a dyno would've been even better.

Unless your friend has a Rexxer or a ProTune box he isn't going to be able to truely remap the Siemens ecu. (It is different from all previous Ducati models)

The bike will run just fine without a remap, just go out and thrash it for 100 miles or so and let it learn the new characteristics. New cans and a remap won't add any real power to the bike, it just improves rideability. (And it sounds cooler)
