I've just fitted new exhaust slip-ons and thought about doing another 'how-to'. There were no instructions and I figured that if a mechanical moron like me can do it, then anybody can.

There is a section on the forum for this sort of thing - 'FAQ and How-To', lots of helpful tutorials there.

Ahh balls. That'll be where I went wrong then. Sure the little diagrams didn't show that though...

I gave the dealer a call anyway and they are more than happy to send me replacement metal expanders and the conical nut things.

They think I should be fine with the rubber expanders though. They feel secure and I'll check to see if they've worked loose periodically. If it turns out they do start to work loose I'll get the replacement metal ones sent over.

May i ask how big is this mirror?I mean just the mirror part.

Only thing I care is the size. I need it to be wide and clear.

I cant understand the measure unit on the Rizoma website = = Is that mm or something.

Having a dilemma between the kockoff or the Rizoma.

The knockoff is much more cheaper, but someone said its smaller than the real Rizoma.

Pardon my poor english and question.

I just received a new set of metal inserts but I really can't see how the large and small pieces would fit together. Both are tapered at the end so that the end cone can screw down onto them. I double checked the manual too, and it definately doesn't say anything about inserting one into the other. Maybe the ones you had were slightly different, or they've since modified them a bit?

I'm not sure what bulge you're refering to?

The throttle side looks exactly the same but mirrored. Not noticeably larger really. The power wire runs underneath on both sides but doesn't impede at all
