Frustrating Day - Bike Won't Start
Greetings All,
I purchased a used '05 620 several months ago and have been using it for casual weekend riding, and when I went to fire it up this morning, the oil pressure lamp stayed on and the engine did not fire. Just silence. The oil level looked a little low, and I live near Pro Italia, where I bought the bike, so I popped on down there and bought some oil and topped it off. Then I hooked up the trickle charger for several hours, in case the battery was low. This evening when I went to fire up the bike again, the oil pressure light is still on and there is silence. BTW, the bike had less than 1,000 miles on it when I bought it, they changed the oil at the time, and I have only put 200 miles on it, so I don't think the issue is the oil. I also have not ridden in the rain, so I don't think moisture on wiring is an issue (I read that thread...most informative). I'll give Pro Italia a call on Tuesday when they are open, but in the interim I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue and had any suggestions. I'm a newbie with bikes, but I would imagine it's always something simple, and I was hoping to save myself a trip to the dealership if possible.
Thanks for replying!
Best to all,
Dan
