Default Changing Handlebars Question

I am attempting to take off the handlebar on my 2004 monster 620 but the top bolts won't budge! The bottom two came undone very easily and there is a little arrow below the top two bolts. I am thinking this means that these are reverse thread bolts but before I try extreme mearsures I wanted to make sure I was turning it in the right direction.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the tip! So, no reverse thread then? Do you know what the little triangle arrow on the top bolts indicates?

Thanks again!

The little arrows tell you the orientation of the handlebar clamps (they should point towards the tank)

the arrows should point towards the headlight and they don't tell you anything about torque on the bolt.

there are no reverse threads there. get out a breaker bar.
