Default anyone do clip ons without modding everything?

looking to go with clip-ons on an '07 S2R 1000. have searched the forum for hours looking to find the answer to this question: has anyone been able to switch without having to modify cables, the "U" bracket, etc.? I am curious so that if I do switch, and don't like it, I can change back, or if I want to sell the bike down the road, I can change it back to stock prior to sale? any particular brands that are an easy swap? anyone?

Thanks for your help!

We generally just bolt theese clip-ons MW Billet Clip-ons w/o Risers: Monster on top of the triple. No other mods needed.

I mounted mine UNDER the triple without any mods at all. I had to flip (at both ends) the line going from the brake to the splitter. This allows it to go up and over the headlight brace. Its all a tight fit, but if you get the order of operations right, it all goes in.
