Default Belt covers?

Is it possible to paint the belt covers?
I know i have to put plastic primer on it but, wil it not get to hot for the paint??

use engine paint. Duplicolor makes 500 degree and 1400 degree paints, the 500 degree is fine. plenty of colors.

i didn't use any primer, i just scuffed the covers with steel wool and did two coats.

Default yes

i used auto spray paint in a can from local auto parts store. lightly sanded / cleaned. 1 coat primer and then 2 coats final color. they turned out great and have stayed in great shape.

I just painted mine with the Dupli-color engine paint in low-gloss black. I have a Dark Monster. The belt covers look great. I just used steel wool for adhesion and then gave them two coats. You can't even tell they've been painted. And they look so much better than the prison-grey color.

I used Krylon FUSION for plastics and it seems to be holding up GREAT

Mine came painted orange, I'm changing them to black thanks to advice on this thread. So yes you can paint them.
