When I try to open it is says "need to install Adobe SVG viewer" (I think, its in Italian).

Well, SVG viewer hasnt been used by adobe in years, and there is no version compatible with my OS (windows 7). I have Adobe viewer installed, but its still not working or me.

Any help?

yea, got that too, autorun doesn't work... instead simply unzip the WSM folder you'll find in the Ducati MOnster one and start home.html in your browser: everything's in, even the pictures!

I unzip it and get a ducatimanual.iso file. When I try to open it, it opens roxio to burn it to a CD. When I burn it, then try to open the file on the CD, I get the request for SGV viewer.

Where am I going wrong?

Thanks so much!

(maybe I dont understand "unzip the WSM folder. I dont see a WSM folder)

I used to own a Subaru, and all their zoomable diagrams are stored in SVG as well. It only works on Windows XP and below, not 7 and higher.

Try opening it with an older computer with Windows XP. Or, alternatively, if you have Windows 7, you can create a Windows XP virtual machine (free from MS), and then run this on your XP VM. This isn't available in Windows 8, BTW.

I have just hacked together some files needed for the Work Shop Manual to run properly.
Download the zip file from here:- http://depositfiles.com/files/4lwe6cc3p
It's, basically all the WSM stuff that mr5ev3n has provided earlier with some extra index images and hacked opening pages.
zip file size - 128.37MB

Unzip it to your hard drive (or flash drive) and open the main.html file. (Double click and it will open in your default browser)
Select your language and away you go.
If you want to burn it to a CD, everything in the "MY796_2011" folder must be in the root of the CD.
Autorun should open the main.html file, but I haven't tested it - too bloody annoying having programs start up when I stick a CD into the computer, I rather do it manually.

I hope this gets everyone up to speed.

Regards,
John

wookenneth,
Click on this link :- http://depositfiles.com/files/4lwe6cc3p to download the Workshop Manual.
Burn it to a CD or run from your Hard Drive.
This is similar to what your Ducati dealer uses.

John

This is weird. I had to use "aol" software to open the disc I bought from a dealer. But it does work. Mike
