I have a 2017 R and it is the same as a 2016 . No changes, but I hope the DQS can be added as soon as the 1200 S is available.

As an aside, I've replaced the stock levers for short Pazzo's and it made a world of difference in the precision of my shifting.

What dealer did you buy a 1200R from?

I think cornering ABS and Wheelie Control are a pretty big deal, too. In total, the 2017 updates may be enough for me to trade in my 2014 1200S.

Me too but no cruise control, no deal for me. I'm keeping the one I got until Ducati gets their heads out of their collective asses about cruise control. There are many uses beyond touring and why does Ducati even care? Just take my money. 2017 1200S with Cruise as a $200...$300...$500 option? Sold, I'll pre-order and trade my 2014 in right now.

Don't overlook that the new S has better ergos re the foot pegs, similar to the R. Not perfect but definitely better.

I ride a 2016 1200R. I have replaced the stock levers for shorties which improved the precision of my shifting 100%. No more knuckle crunch. I have no comments about cornering ABS or wheelie control as I have no point of reference but I like wheelies and this bike delivers, which is an understatement. What I really miss is a quicksifter such as what I have on my Panigale, a fuel or "range to go" gauge, cruise control and heated grips. An electronic key available on the Mulistrada would be nice. Notwithstanding, I really, really love this bike.

Totally! WTF, Ducati?? The electronics package on the XDiavel is *outstanding* and the bike is a complete joy to ride - if that's your thang. If Ducati had put that electronics package on the '17 M1200, I'd be in the queue tomorrow!
