Here is the quick and dirty undertail cover instructions.
Items you need
Sterilite plastic tub lid. Can be found at Walmart. The lip of the lid is important to my design.
Black plastidip and maybe flat clear if you so choose.
4 M8 X 30mm bolts and 4 washers.
4 thick rubber washers approximately 1/4" thick. The washers act as a standoff on the backside of the part.
Something to cut plastic. The lid is pretty pliable.
Box knife, utility knife.
Per the pictures, just cut out the template and lay it on the lids edge per the drawing. Cut one then flip the template over and cut the other side. Use your crafty skills to clean it up with the box cutter, sand paper etc. it's not rocket science.
Test fit and then plastidip them. Install. Done. Crack your 4th beer. About how long it will take since I already did the leg work of getting a template.
I don't have a printer so I couldn't print your template but I made some of my own and cut these out of the top of a different style tote lid that I had lying around. Luckily it was black. I have to go to the hardware store to get some bolts before they can go on but the mockup looks good. Thanks for the idea!
