Default 101 Stupid Things to Do

So I wheelied in front of a motorcycle cop today >...it wasn't intentional, so don't start throwing roses at my feet just yet. Here's the story:

BikerGoddess and I left my house to run errands around 11 or so. I was on the Monster and she followed me on the scooter. We turned onto Mission from 15th, and there was all this nice fresh pavement from recent road/pipeline construction. My first thought: this would make for a kick-ass wheelie spot! So i hoisted the front pretty high in first, got the decibels up to eardrum-shattering levels, and put the front wheel down just in time to see one of those SFPD enduros parked on my side of the street. The cop was in the middle of writing a ticket, so he just sort of gave me the evil eye as I lurched past. I gave him a bit of a nod as if to say "yeah, I know...I know." If he hadn't been in the middle of writing a ticket I'd be a little poorer right now ;D

Wheelies happen. And sometimes, just sometimes . . . wheelies happen in front of olice:.

Next time, you'll see one writing a ticket, know he's not gonna chase ya and THEN hoist one up. >

Your Lucky.

I have heard cops throwing the book at riders for that. impounding the bike for 30 days.

I thought in some states that is considered a license suspension now.

There is no better way to break in the center of a new tire! >

101 Stupid things to do part 2:

Right off of Skaggs up near Geyserville. We were coming up to a stop sign and there were about 4 cars and a harley infront of me. Jaman decides to pull up to the stop sign, stop and go through. I decide to follow, splitting between the cars and the cyclists on the right. I blow through the stop sign and about mid intersection I see the cop car waiting there. I try my hardest not to turn my head and admit guilt so I just keep going and start praying. I look in my mirror and see brake lights go on... and I think he may have even pulled out, but no ticket! F#$K stop signs! they are for punks! > ;D

Im pretty sure TCK's white boots stopped me from getting a ticket, the olice: knew better!

Over in the UK we have license plates as big as bill boards and the cop could just memorise the plate and issue a ticket by post... so you'd now have 14 days of purgatory wondering whether you were going to get slapped.

Enjoy the good times.

Being the law abiding citizen that I am, and the fact that I saw the cop chillaxing in the shade in his fresh 2008 Dodge Durango police sport utility tactical assault vehicle, yeah the new SUTAV model, I chose not to run the stop sign and instead practice my red light revving skills wiyh the Harley bagger.  But as I saw him put the SUTAV in gear I gave him a look, reached down, pointed to the boots, and shook my head with disapproval, he turned his head away because the intense white I'm sure was giving him a headache. He then decided to just mosey on down the road and give some tickets to drunken wine tasters.
