So my bike is finally on its delivery route into sf today and the driver of the truck calls to say that he can deliver today. Sweet, gave him an alternate delivery spot close to my school. He says, ok, just need to let you know the kickstand is broken, are all ducati kickstands made out of aluminum, i've never seen an aluminum kickstand. WTF? So I don't know what happened to the bike and if the kickstand is broken, did they drop the bike. I'm fuming >

So now I'm having it sent straight to desmoto sport. :'(

might have tried to stap it down with the kickstand down? ker-snap...

But that would be a hell of a strap down and if it was strapped that tight I'd be looking at blown fork seals...

If you're in need I have a brand new CycleCat 1" longer aftermarket that I might be talked out of for a few bucks off..

I can't even take pics. I just had the guy drop it off at desmoto sport and had Darrin take pics. They put it up on a stand for me. Bike was shipped from haulbikes.com which is also called DailyDirect. Darrin said bike looks fine and doesn't look like it was dropped. I'm going to have them do a one over on it to see if this company f'd up my ride. This is ridiculous.

That was your bike, eh? I was up at Desmoto taking care of some 749 bid-ness when you were on the phone with Scott. It looks like it was just the sidestand -- but you're wise to get a good once-over from Desmoto.

Well, at least it's a quick fix. The Desmoto folks will have you up and running again soon I suspect.
