Default Routine Service: Nichols or Hatters?

Routine service is due. ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Nichols guys, but somewhat inconvenient. How are the guys at Hatter's for service? Or is it still better and worth the ride to Milpitas?

THey're good. And Desmotosport in SF is excellent.

"They're good" meaning Hatter's? I know Nichols is great, and have heard the same about Desmotosport.

Hattar is definitely good. But they are a dealer, so they charge dealer prices and have a dealer's queue. I find that Desmoto typically gets the work done quicker, is a bit less expensive, and its more convenient logistically. They're also top-notch wrenches, supporting several local racing teams.

If you have a mechanic you trust to do proper work to your bike, I would just stick with them.

Depending on the service you need done, I may even be able to knock it out here at the house. I'm out of work until my surgery, so I have lots of free time on my hands.

And if all goes well (fingers crossed), I'll be moving from Evolution to Desmoto soon!

So if'n y'all kind folks wouldn't mind puttin' in a good word, or three...
