Default SKAGGS SPRINGS ROAD LAW ENFORCEMENT

According to a very reliable source, the recent death of a rider on Skaggs Springs Road has caught the eye of LE.

Be advised, Sonoma County SO is going to increase patrols and controls on Skaggs Springs Rd in response to complaints from local ranchers as well as the death of the MC rider.

I don't know when this is supposed to begin but be forewarned, it is apparently coming.

More if/as I learn it.

RIDE SAFE.

Cops on Skaggs? No. Say it isn't so! [laugh] (Sorry...just joshin' with you a bit there.) I haven't ridden Skaggs for at least three years now. The unfavorable cop-to-rider ratio on that stretch of pavement is legendary. Thanks for the heads-up. Perhaps the crack-down is just ramping up a little sooner now due to the rider's death.

From what I hear there were 2 cops there on the day of the accident.. It's only a 10 mile stretch of road..

How many cops per linear mile of road does it take to keep MC riders from killing themselves? The world may never know..

Wrong bridge dude.... You can certainly ride to that bridge, but the centerline disappears and it turns into a goat trail.

Yeah host trail part of it sucks... Especially to the smooth as butter asphalt the rest of the road has.

The first 2 miles or so after the campground has some sort of Chip seal on it now. you guys should have come out a few weeks ago when we did Skaggs springs. No leos, good run.
