Default Need some help as a feeler

I have been on the board for a few years and so I thought I would ask most of you who are honest enough to help me out. I have a 03 1000 Monster with a lot of bells and whistles and I know that mean nothing in the world of second hand selling. I am looking at selling my bike and I am having a hard time trying to put a number on. It is hard to sell some thing that you have grown attached to and for some else to think it’s worth the same as you think its worth. So what I have.

03 1000 with 13,300 miles
Senna with the OG red wheels and custom tank paint work
Sergeant seat
CGR lane splitter mirrors
DP high mounts carbon fiber
Speedymoto belt covers and frame sliders
Tail chop
Blinker taillight integration clear alternatives
New seals and springs in the front forks for 200lb rider
14 tooth front

This picture was taken in June of 06 I will post more tonight; this was the only one I hade at work.

Nice bike!

You won't get much for the aftermarket bits, so for those stock parts you have I'd say take the aftermarket parts off and sell them on eBay.

I still have the dirt bikes and quads I am not selling those that's for sure. I interested in selling to get out of the street riding and do more dirt riding. I am looking into build a rock crawler as well and I see my bike in the garage and I know I don't ride enough anymore, So i thought maybe someone would see it for what I saw in it and get out and ride it. It's a tough one I love this bike but i don't ride it enough. I am just looking for some number$ as to way people think I could get for it.

Ahhh rock crawlers... $$$$$$

You looking to build a buggy or street/trail rig? I've helped run calc's in the past on high travel off road suspension designs if you're looking to go the complete custom route.

Before my neighbors forced me to get rid of my jeep I had planned on HP D60 front and D60 rear, with 8 lug - 15" wheels running 42" Iroks with 4 link front and rear and full hydro steering...

I've still got the custom 15" wheels w/ 2.5 BS, a couple of 1410 - 32 spline yokes, and HP D60 Sky Manufacturing high steer arm it's very slick, if you're interested... I gave away everything else including a twin sticked NP205

you don't sound like your in a rush to sell the bike, so i would look a kbb for a starting number and then cruise craigslist for similar bike to get a nice middle of the road price.
post it on craigslist and see what kinda interest you get.
i have no idea what it would be worth. its not the kind of monster you see every day so it should be somewhat desirable.

fyi they tend to sell for a bit less in the Bay Area because there is such a saturation of them here. But that doesn't mean it will, it might.

That said, that's a sweet bike. Good luck.
