Howdy, just started checking out the Monster Board. I am looking for some good recommendations for rides north of San Francisco Bay. I have checked out a number of rides around the East Bay, and am looking to expand to the north. I have heard good things about riding to/around Lake Berryesa. Any recommendations, and folks interested in checking this area out with me? My Monster is an 08' S2R1000.

I am new to the forum.

I just bought a new '08 Monster Tricolore.

I've been riding for decades (street and dirt competition) but this is my first Ducati.

I don't know anything about Ducatis other than they are beautiful.

I intend to search this forum carefully and gather all the information I can about my new ride and ask as few questions as possible.

I recognize that the Internet contains great huge volumes of information, . . . and some of it is accurate.

I have lots of opinions about oil, filters, tires, pressures, etc., but I don't intend to share them.

I believe in minding my own business and letting other grown-ups do the same.

Like Forrest Gump, that's all I have to say about that.

Hello- My first bike and it's a Ducati- I have been involved w/ cycles my whole life but never owned one- I come from a BMW family- but my dad bought a 1996 900SS 2 months ago and I asked him to ride it- he said to go buy yer own- I did!! 2000 Monster M-900 and I couldn't be happier. I live outside of beautiful Madison, WI and love my bike. Ride safe and ride hard!!

Hey all,

I'm Hunter, origionally from NC and returning there shortly. I purchased an 2009 M1100S to ride while out here and I've been loving it (~1500 miles in a month; a lot for me). I've got full Termi's and an STM 48 tooth slipper, Rizoma grips and a few choice carbon bits round out the first set of improvements. Up next, rizoma rearsets, paint, rizoma billet reservoirs and a few more carbon bits. If you are in the monterey/santa cruz area look me up for a riding partner. I'm comfortable at most speeds that won't unnecessarily endanger myself or my bike.

Hey guys I just bought a 2010 Ducati Monster 696, I live in san jose and i have staring at the bike until the rain stopped and this weekend i havent stopped riding, this is my first motorcycle and i am very happy with it so far. I am interested in going to monster meets and finding places to get some stuff dont to my bike, like wheel stripes and other small stuff....in the bay


as well as your opinions on exhaust, im looking for the loudest meanest exhaust the make for this bike....any help will be very appreciated..!!!

I just bought my first 1995 Ducati m900 monster. Even though I have been riding motorcycles for many years, this is my first naked bike. I always wanted a monster and found a great deal but it needs a little bit of work, but glad to take on the project.
