Re: New here? Introduce yourself!
I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Geoff from El Sobrante....."Hi, Geoff from El Sobrante!"...anyway, I got my first Duc recently--an S4RS--after riding Harleys and a Speed Triple. I dig this forum!

Re: New here? Introduce yourself!
Welcome
How does the Speed Triple compare?
I was interested in getting one down the road.

Re: New here? Introduce yourself!
The Speed Triple is heavier and the front end is a little vague compared to the S4RS. I think the triple has more of a linear power curve as well. To blast off in a straight line, I like the triple. For everything else, I'm LOVIN' my S4RS! Also, the triple feels a lot more top-heavy. You sit ON the bike rather than IN it.

Re: New here? Introduce yourself!
What's Up everyone!
Name is Jen, I'm a chef working in San Francisco. I bought my Monster 695 Dark 2008 last November.
I F*@#ing love this bike! New to riding but the Duc is treating me kind.
Anyone have any idea if the Competition Werkes and/or Tail1 chop kit fits the 2008 monsters?
Cheers

I swear, the name of this group really should have been "Chefs, Architects and Lawyers". [laugh] [laugh]
Welcome Jen, glad to hear you're loving the bike. [thumbsup]

Re: New here? Introduce yourself!
You don't think nerds are kind of a given in this area? It's kind of like politicians and Wash. DC - you can't turn around without hitting one.
