I just joined this forum even though I have been a long time lurker. I thought I would say hi. Hi. ;D

I have been looking for a monster since January, and finally found one. Its an 04 S4R, navy with white stripe. Yes its one of the more bling ones, but I got such a deal on it that I could not pass it up. I have ridden just about every japanese supersport, and it was finally time to get something completely different. So far I am extremely stoked. The only thing that sucks is that everyone I know wants a ride all of a sudden. heh.

I have been on barf for a while, and recognize some of your user names. but due to the nitwit factor on that forum, i decided to use a new user name. Its also the same one I use on SBR.

I live and work in the city, am a regular at the Zeit, and am looking forward to meeting some of you Duc riders as well as getting tips on mods such as the tail chop, etc. I have a good buddy who rides a 748, and we have been known to pose at Abir on sat mornings before a ride.

Hey welcome to the board! With the ride requests I think you've discovered that Ducatis are something special. For the 90% of the population who think of motorcycles as all the same, a Ducati tends to stand out. The only problem is they'll all assume you're rich because you ride one. [laugh] [laugh]

By all means head over to the Z tomorrow. I'm gonna have to miss it, but there will be plenty of other miscreants there.

[laugh] Your right. I had to stop counting how many times I was told: You can afford it, you just bought a Duc! My reply usually is: actually that's why I am now broke. Its a beautiful machine, I like it, my girl likes it, that's the most important thing. I still have my FZ1 for everyday city hooliganism.

I am heading out for a 4 day moto camping trip for the wknd, so I wont be able to make the Zeit tomorrow evening. But will try and make it out next week. I take it this drunkard pow wow happens every thursday?
