That's candid write-up is really appreciated Enzo [thumbsup]

I'd be inspired to try it myself, if I could face putting tape all over my bike :

Actually, it looks like from the info at keigwin.com that you don't have to tape anything at all if you are able to pull the fuse/bulbs for your rear brake, and can remove your mirrors. Headlight/directional is even optional.

You'll need to tape or remove mirrors. Your choice, but functioning mirrors is a "no-no."

Yep, it does say that - removing mine is an easy task, I think.

If you choose to tape, try to find "gaffers tape" - available at most decent photo stores and even Home Depot IIRC. It leaves no residue behind, unlike the gunk from duct tape.

On my monster there was a plug near the headlight and another under the seat that would disconnect all the pertinent stuff but leave the tach functioning. It might be the same on the SBK models.

Just go out and buy an R6 or an ex250 now. Why put off today what cash you will inevitably spend in the future?

Have fun!
