Default May have to sell Monster - not by choice. Need Help

Hi Guys,
Well i got myself into a good one this time. I got 3 summons to defendant, which means court appearance. first 2 for bull crap things, 3rd thing is the biggie, 80 over the speed limit. Now i will have to wait to get disclosure before i know how super fawked i am. But was just wondering if any of the onatrio riders would know of good legal help.

I dont want to disclose too much information about this for obvious reasons, but is it possible for a cop to give you a ticket with out pacing your ride, just the fact that he was trying to catch up and there were many cars in front of him ?

I'm sick to my stomache and dont want to lose my baby. But if convicted insurance will kill me if i'm lucky enough to come out with my license still.

Just looking for help, not to get flamed on.

I would call one of those ex-copper places , these guys seem to know every loop hole .
Know a few people who tried them and got off .

Well my friend - dont be too hard on yourself however given the potential consequences you should follow the advice of others and get professional help...

In the past I've been fortunate that officers drasticallally reduced or let me off with a warning - key is treating the officers with respect (not being a kiss ass either)... and for others I've always fought tickets with great success... again this was a long time ago...

My last ticket was being clocked at 197km/hr in a 100km zone (it was after midnight and there was no traffice - I was a n idiot in retrospect) - honestly I was doing 245-260km/hr but slowed down to ~200km/hr when off in the distance a tractor/trailer was making a lane change and ws wavering into the passing lane - I took the oppurtunity to look in my rear view and sure enough there were flashing lights but they were way way back - my exit right before me ...making a making a risk assessment (I had no idea how long he was in pursuit and he may have radiod ahead) I decided to pull over and wait..which seemed for ever ..he finally showed up and ask me to shut the motor off ;-)...he was glad I pulled over ..raked me over the coals and mentioned he could arrest me on the spot...then he took an interest in the unique 7 series BMW and wondered why it was so fast for a stock 4 door sedan...he knew I was going much faster than the clocked 197km/hr....but he could not lock on...it was a BMW my brother imported from Europe that I was driving for the day- the turbo 745....again this was back in 1989....

The officer was cool, wrote up the summons but did let me go which I was gratful for...I knew I was looing at a suspension and a serious increase in insurance premiums...I hired a professional ex-police (cant remember the name) for $500....he never showed up - not sure of the firm I retained had any influence but I'm not asking questions given the outcome - since then a prefect driving record..

In summary - yes you might get off (I did and I was docked at 97km/hr over) but dont take chances or skimp on prefessional services....

Get help....and hope for the best - best of luck!!

Yeah. What kind of luck was that? [thumbsup] Esp with that stupid impoundment rule and all.

Love to hear how you squirmed out of it. (I'll probably need the advice for later). :
