Deal's Gap

This is really short notice, but I've got a free week and decided to leave tomorrow for the BRP and Deal's Gap. Probably try and hit #100 through Vermont on the way home. If anybody's got the time for the ride, we're leaving around 1:00pm tomorrow (Wed.) and be gone about a week.

Had a great trip

We rode 11 hrs the first day on the interstate just to get to Knoxville. The next day we did Deal's gap and smokey mountain national park. We spent a couple nights in Gatlinburg Tennessee and the days riding all the great local roads rounding the edges off our tires from the long interstate ride.

The ride home was much slower with back roads up through Virginia (on and off the Blue ridge pkwy) and up to Gettysburgh Pennsylvania. From there we rode up through the Catskilll mountains and up to Lake Placid in the Adirondacks. The last two days were spent heading up into the Quebec Laurentians before a long and cold ride on the 401 home.
