East of Dallas Texas

Hey! New to forum, but already have a major problem with a 2007 S2R 1000. Have had the bike 15 months. The motor mount has broken away from the engine block. This happened 3 weeks ago on a CR near my house. Bumped a pot hole in the dark and lost power when the mount broke. Have asked and called around local welders and bike shops, but no luck on anyone to fix this. Insurance needs an estimate, but can't tell them anything if no one will consider doing it. Please, just need suggestions from anyone with what to do next. Thanks

You've already got a few responses in your other thread. I figured I would ask what town? I was supposed to go rifle shopping last night in Mesquite but it didn't turn out.

Thanks for your reply. Out of Commerce. Another post suggested dropping the engine and replacing the case or replacing the engine entirely. The mount is broken off straight across completely away from the engine. Will have to see if insurance will cover damage caused by road hazard or not. Will have to weigh options of replacement costs otherwise. Thanks again!
