Default Martin Finnegan killed in Tandragee 100 accident

Just read on speedzilla, and confirmed after a google search, that Martin Finnegan was killed today in the Tandragee 100 Irish road race.

One source says his engine seized and he was separated from his bike. 3 spectators were also injured, and one of them might have died in the hospital.

Finnegan won one of the morning races.

Sad news indeed.

Those Irish races are true road races, like they all used to be. They are mini Isle of Mans with spectators a foot or two from bikes zooming by at race speed and stone walls and trees for a "safety fence". Joey Dunlop was the king of them all. Sad news indeed. At least he died doing something he loved. Hope the spectators turn out well.
