Post Group Ride Cigar Meet, May 10, 2008 ***'s Place, then Embargo, FW
I was sitting here enjoying this box-press maduro (Nicaraguan) along with some vodka a buddy got me from Russia (yea, it's cool, I know ;D), and I thought: "there must be others in our group who like a cigar and beverage every now and then." >
I know that Charles, Brian, Ron, and Norris are a go for a cigar meet (Scott is a go, only if it's Kinky). The question is where and when ??? I asked the Tiki next to me aglow with the tea light, and he just stared at me with those evil eyes and that crazy grin. :-\
So, I ask the masses...what say you?
[edit] cigar meet following ride to fly-in (Granbury).
In for the cigar meet:

Re: Cigar Anyone?
This all sounds good to me. I'll watch the thread and see what transpires. Outlook VERY BAD of this happening at my place due to that whole wife anti cigar thing... whatever. :P Ah, the good old single days, resplendent in fine cigars, exquisite adult liqueur and fast exotic motorcycles. At least the bikes are still around! [thumbsup] Gotta draw the line somewhere.

Re: Cigar Anyone?
Lately been kind of partial to the Padron Anniversary 1964. Javiers is the only cigar bar I know of downtown but there's got to be more.

Re: Cigar Anyone?
Don't know where we should do this, unless you peeps want to make a road trip to Mineola. In which case we could do it at my place (after clearing it with the family of course). I actually like that idea.
As far as when, I'm home on May 13th and need a few days to get my land legs back. How about anytime in May from the 15th onward. Week or weekend work for me.

Re: Cigar Anyone?
I have the place and a Zippo to light them cigars too. [thumbsup]
As far as the beverages, I am poorly stocked unless you want diet Pepsi and Diet Lipton Green tea. But I am willing to shop at the local party store. 8)
Psst, May10, the day before Mother's day, I have the house to myself. The garage needs some ambiance.

My all time favorite restaurant anywhere on the planet. Been eating there 20+ years and have never had bad service or food. My brother and I had our company Christmas dinner parties there years ago and they did an unbelievable job. All 45 dinners came out of the kitchen and hit the table all within 5 minutes max, all exactly as ordered... on a busy as s#@t Saturday night right before Christmas! Just awesome! Besides, I like going just to see what killer exotic car Javier is driving that day! [thumbsup]
OK, end of thread jack... just don't ever mention Javiers again while I'm on the board! [cheeky]
