Default New Duc on the block... and he is on the lookout for stock bars...

A buddy of mine just picked up a 2006 M620 Dark, and I've persuaded him to sign up with our little motorcycle gang club.

Speak up, man! introduce yourself!

Also, he is on the lookout for stock bars, as a former owner put something on there that doesn't sit well with him... If you have some you'd like to dump for cheap or free, please speak up!

cheers,
Svoloch

Stock bars, hmm.

I'll ask around if any of the Houston/SA/Austin folks have a set. If not, look into the clubman machine bars

I *might* have a stock set of bars... The only problem is, when I get the 620 back, I'm removing the Rizoma clip-ons and will either

1) Use the stock 620 upper triple clamp (that's currently not being used) and put a set of the stock S2R Megura (sp?) handle bars that are thicker diameter than the flimsy one that came on the 620, or,
2) If the S2R bars don't fit in the stock 620 upper triple clamp, I'll get some helibars or Cycle Cat clip-ons so I can raise the over all height of controls.

All of that to say, if I can't get it to work, your friend is welcome to mine [thumbsup]

So, does it have clip-ons? I'm willing to work something out with my stocker bars for the clip-ons if that's the problem and they'll fit. Let me know.

Lisa don't quote me but I think the S2R bars are thicker than the 620s triple mount

I'm pretty sure I have a set of magura bars off an s4rs sitting in my garage right now. If not, I know that chipo just recently took his magura bars off too, they are a little fatter around the middle, but should be able to use them no problem... just let us know
