Default Desmosedici music

Just got back a little while ago from AMS/Dallas. Went to talk to Scott but he's out sick, Jeff is doing Dallas duty while Scott's out. The neat thing I didn't expect was Jeff's Desmosedici sitting on the showroom floor! Absolutely awesome scooter! Talk about being able to sit in your garage for hours staring at a bike... this is that bike. Asked Jeff if he had many miles on it and he said no, just a couple of burnouts in the Alvarado parking lot and a few high speed passes on the road in front of the shop. He hopes to take it to the next track day.

The point of this thread? Without asking him to do so he grabbed the key, made sure Natalie was off the phone and lit it off! Blipped the throttle a few times and holy s#@t was it ever sweet. Sounded like a freaking F1 car. I'd pay money to stand on a straightaway and have people ride by wide open on those bikes!! If you haven't seen one yet (I hadn't) take the time and make a point to cruise by AMS/Dallas and check it out. If you're lucky Jeff will be in the mood to show off the exhaust noise!! [thumbsup]

I saw a sedici being put together when I went by the alvarado shop to pick up my bike. I just stopped dead in my tracks, my head went to one side, and I drooled for about a good 10 minutes. It's just so...beautiful. There really is no other word to put to it, and that doesn't even do it justice.

Not only would I push a nun down a flight of stairs, I'd punch the Pope in the nards for that bike.

I was surprised, though, that it was so SMALL! I thought surely it'd be a little bit long or something like that but I almost thought that my 996 looked a little bigger than it does!
