Ride this upcoming weekend???

I always hate to start this stuff with no plans but what the he@@! This weekend looks good weatherwise... so far. Sunday may be iffy for me due to the fact that Colin has his 1st baseball game of the season but the yahoos that run the Dallas Catholic league b'ball are too goofed up to post the damn schedule. So we don't know when, or where, or with whom... but we do have a game! :P Can you say dumba##? OK, that's out of my system.

Back on topic. Saturday is good for me but who cares. If the group leans toward Sunday so be it. I'd love to poke Swanny in a friendly way to do a pre-ARK ride warm up ride. Maybe the casino run without the casino nonsense, maybe lunch somewhere in Sherman/Dennison without the slab to Durant. Any interest? Don't look at me for routes, I can't even give you a good route to my house. But the Casino Run had some good roads, the wind sucked last time but who can you blame that on?? Talk among yourselves. ;D

Ah, racing what? Bicycles? They actually have bicycle racing in Mineral Wells? A stage race? Heck, I'll sponsor a criterium around my block so you don't have to go to Mineral Wells! Bell laps, prims, everything! OK, no umbrella girls... I draw the line at that! [cheeky] Have fun regardless, weather looks good for all two wheel fun. Good luck!! yep... it's not a stage race though; two separate. I need to start getting some podiums so I can cat up to a 3 in a timely manner. I just got my 4 and don't want to be there forever (25 races! screw that... I'd rather do it in 4 "top 3" finishes.)

Well, if Swanny can't orchestrate a run, I'd be happy to take you guys for a lunch run out near Bonham. We'd have to slab it up 75 to North of McKinney, but after that we hit the 2 lanes, and I got a couple good motorcycle roads we can enjoy out there. One before lunch, and then we'll hit up a short stretch coming back after lunch.

There is a pretty sweet country cookin buffet style joint in Bonham with plenty of seating for us hooligans and should be plenty of food. Its pretty tasty. The lady and I went up there for lunch a few months back.

If this sounds interesting, I'll start putting plans together for morning meetup and the run itself. Would be a good day with the crowd.
