SUCCESS! Ok so I got the fuel filter changed and in the progress fixed what had to have been the gremlin that has been a pain in my ass for over a month. As soon as I removed the old fuel filter I blew through it to see if there was any restriction, it was like tryin to blow through a coffee stirrer. I am amazed my bike was even running, as I was putting the new filter and the fuel pump back in the tank I noticed the gas that was left in the tank. I could actually see the fuel seperated by water

so needless to say I started cleaning. After about an hour I finally got all the nasty gas/water/rust out of the tank by adding a little gas then stirring it up and siphoning it out until I was getting clear gas through the hose. I then went and got some fresh gas along with some fuel injector cleaner. WOW it was like a totally different bike! I'm just glad I got this fixed without spending a bunch of $$ all it cost me was $29.00 for a fuel filter and alot of time and patience. I also learned alot about the internal workings of my bikes tank. If anyone ever has any questions, or needs some help changing there own filter I would love to help it's not near as hard as it looks. [thumbsup]
Thanks to all who helped out, I hope to see you all again soon [thumbsup]
