Default endurance racing

I was talking to keith about racing lastight, he's interested I getting a team together (I think 2 other people) and doing an endurance race using his SV650, its already race prepped and been down a few times so nobody would feel bad if they had to get off it. I'm into doing a couple track dsays but Im sure I wouldn't be into his but I told him I'd pass it on. I suggested that maybe since its his bike the other 2 racers might be into each chipping a little off of his entry fee.

I told him a lot of you are doing more and more track days and there might be some interest. I'll help pit crew/ gopher but I know I wouldn't have the endurance, so why bother!?!

Thoughts? Intrest?

what organization is it with?
i can only imagine there is much more to it than sign and ride.
you'd need to have a race license, and getting that takes a bit of time on the track as well as some bucks.
have him do some research on it and get back to us, i think a few of us would be in to it, just for the hell of it

I shoulda waited till he looked into it all the way and I talked to him again. He just has his novice liscence. Oh well, it was a cool idea for a few hours!

Another sanctioning body should have something like this that's a little more acheiveable for moderate enthusiasts.
