Default What I learned from...

...Marco today, was the importance of scrubbing in brand new tires before you start pushing it in the corners. He had a low speed low side on a hard right hand turn today with about 2 miles on his brand new Conti's. He is fine but Dr.Z has a few love scratches on her now.

Marco, glad to hear you're fine.

Ugh, I'm getting tired of the crash stories and it's barely March. At least this time it wasn't on wet grass in front of traffic trying to change the signal.

You guys heading out tomorrow?

Thanks fellas, it wasn't that bad really.
It was a really sharp right hander marked at 15mph that i was getting in to really hard riding supermoto style with a foot out.
At about the apex I gassed it and the rear spun up and both tires let go.
I guess the combo of the thick layer of brine on the road and the new unscrubbed tires made it a little slippery.
I'm a little sore this morning, mainly my right knee and left shoulder...but i think i may have broken my pinky finger which is only used to balance my tea cup when i drink.... ;D

Anyway here's a few pics of the character I added to the Dr. Z.
Man am I lucky I had a foot out and that it's basically a dirtbike, there was bascially no real damage, just a few scratches.

Marco - glad to hear you're okay, but I guess I'll have to drop you from the tea party invitation list[cheeky].

Sorry to hear about the bike. Looks cosmetic - and you're very good with mods, so hopefully you can make the doctor look better than before!

marco, you've always talked about the importance of protective gear - glad to see it came through for you.

let us know when you're up to snuff.
