Clopstyle? This is a sweet set up!
this sounds like a decent deal and you could probably get a great deal on it

Sounds good but I think he might be a bit optimistic saying it'll do 188.

not like it matters, there isn't many tracks around any of us are good enough to get close to that speed anyway
of course on the track 140 feels like 200 because of how fast the turns come up on you!

I just can't wait until I can justify spending some cash on a track bike of any sort.
This year isn't looking too hot, maybe next.

nice, i'm from Pottstown, he and I should meet up in Stonerville, right up the road from me!
Then we can take a cruise through Bird In Hand, through Virginville, which would lead us to Blue Ball and end our journey in Intercourse.

I love Pa

Well, I too think 188 is a tad on the high side. I really like the 636, but how much are his gauges off by? I had a YZF750R that I did TONS of work to including swapping in an 03 R1 motor and the faster I went, the more the speedo was off by. (at times as much as 38mph, verified by GPS)

yeah thats pretty common actually. Somewhere i read a review on all the different bikes out and i remember some of them were waaay off, and the tach's were off too! I think Yamaha had a recall on their r-6 and the claimed 17k redline, which was more like 16.2 or something like that

most speedos are off. i can't rememebr the exact numbers, but i recall a range of about 5-10%

that means that the faster you go the more the disparity will be.

Cars too, when we were heading down to get Toasty we weren't really doing 140. It was more like 130 something.
