Teddy, what happened?
So Teddy, spill the beans. What is all the ruckus about with the moderators leaving the DML? I know that the board was sold a while back, but what stirred all this up?

I'm not Teddy, but it's pretty self-explanatory. The mods don't want to work for free for a for-profit organization. Also, if you've ever checked out ducati.ms? That is likely the future of the board. Ugh.

No, I saw that much. Just wondered what had happened over the weekend to make everyone jump ship at the same time. And yes, I used to be on .ms a while back, and it is pretty much ruined now...  |

I think that VS announced an upcoming format change to the Mods, i.e. the background colors will likely remain the same for a little while but the format will look like ducati.ms and lots of other forums. They took that as a sure sign of many other changes to come and decided it wasn't worth the hassle.
DML free range for a while.

Randy, I certainly didn't mean you expected payment from VS, just that they are a corporation who expect to exploit the hard work of the board volunteers. If that is still way off, you have my apologies.

I think it was safe to say that the mod core wanted more support from VS.
There are a number of other issues that have not surfaced yet, but Mac900 is pretty spot on.
