Default Billet Frame Plugs

hey guys, somewhere along the line I lost a frame plug. Even though these a really expensive, I'd like to get them for the whole bike. Does anyone know what size I should get?

You need to measure the inside diameter of the frame tube hole(s) in question. I have these plugs in the 999 and not all the tubes were the same size. I ended up getting three different sizes although I didn't need too. There is enough adjustment that some of the smaller ones will still expand enough to fit a slightly larger tube. You should also be aware that for some sizes STM changed the look of the outer cap. Some are convex as the picture shows but some are concave and , as such, look different.

hey mac, thanks for the info. I'll have to find a ruler with enough precision that it will differentiate between 22 and 23 mms.

If you at least come by the Jamba Juice meet up on Sunday I'll bring a spare frame plug that you could size to the existing open tube. Let me know.

Here's another option. I can simply bring the spare plug to work. The shop is on the corner of Cooke St. and Kawaiahao St. and right in your neighborhood. I've seen you ride by on Cooke St. a few times so it'd be easy for you to stop by.

BME. Bavarian Motor Experts. Just look for the fenced in parking lot with all the BMWs parked inside.
