Default a bit different.

< rant >

ok, so I know I've been off the rock for a week, and out of touch, but it turns out that 3 person moto accident in waienae... I know the biker. coworker/apprentice classmate, and a dude I've ridden w/alot, as well as his wife and a couple of their friends.

that said, sure, he was going home from work that morning, and I suppose it's possible to be... not as alert... as you'd like to be early in the morning and just off of work.

but.

he does ride/drive like an asshat w/frequency. so I really don't know how I should be feeling about this whole sitch.

:-\

Is that the guy who ran into the two pedestrians in a crosswalk? After they got off a bus?

Ugh. i missed this story. Damn my sexy ignorance.

That said, if he rides like a doof, there's no problem with being pissed at him about it. Doesn't mean you have to hate the guy, just his bad habits. I think.

don't get me wrong, if he walked away, I'd be the first to brain his dumbass w/my ballpeen hammer.

but he didn't... what spurred this on was a post by his wife on myspace tonight, thanking everyone for the prayers and well-wishing. so yeah, it sucks for pat, and the obvious distress it causes wife and kids... but...

I think that is the important question. If the dude was riding like an ass, and injured someone because of that, then I think I would feel more compassion/interest for the innocent party, and not the asshat...
