Default aluminum handlebars

I guess my duc has been sitting up too long. I've noticed some rust and pitting on my handlebars. Given the salty air, may be a it wouldn't be a bad ideal to replace it. Is there an aftermarket aluminum alternative that isn't too far off from OEM so that it's more or less a direct replacement?

They're not aluminum to begin with? The older Monsters came stock with Al bars.

Hmmm, I'm seeing rust, so they can't be aluminum, right? (I hope so, I bought an aluminum Cannondale under the assumption that aluminum doesn't rust.)

Well, aluminium does "oxidize", but not in the same manner that steel rusts. The times I saw examples of it, on bike frames, it had a whitish flaky layer on it...
