Default 696

I was surprised to see that the 695 and 696 are selling concurrently. I thought Ducati would phase out the 695 before bringing out the 696.

Any word on when we might see one on the island?

Technically, the 696 has not been released yet so there is no concurrent availability at this time.

well, there ain't none to go out the door.
we have none of our own right now, just prepped one from WA for a customer.

so, if you want one, you need to be on the horn triing to get one, and we can set up the rest.

tomarrow, i am a putting a dp system on a white one and tuning it, so come check it out.

oh, and the FI on the 695 is fine, well that is once you get rid of the lambda system.

to make a duc run right at the specs they are required to have em at, is near impossible. you can make them run, but not to their potential or even how they were designed to run.
i have come to the conclusion that when you by a new model duc, you buy about 85% of the bike, the rest is in the dp kits.
the sad part is that the stock components cost alot more than the termi components.
but this seems to be ducati's way around CARB and so on.

now, there are ways to detune a bike, add more revolving mass, eliminate overlap, and so on, and it may run with a .5% CO burn, and if they do that, then that motor will not be like any other duc motor made.
We wiill end up power to displacment ratios like those in cars.
