Default 900SS

What do you guys think? I've always loved this model. I could have bought a 900FE years ago.

I was looking at that bad boy yesterday. They do have a classic Ducati look to them that I've always loved. Certainly worth looking at, no?

I wonder what the maintenance on something like that 'd be?

Not bad at all really. Air cooled and carbureted. I almost bought one of those before I got the Monster. The only reason I waved off was that it wobbled when slowing down. The salesman said it was due to a squared off front tire but I suspected otherwise for a few different reasons. That said it could be great fun. A tad bit pricey, maybe, for a 93 with that many miles.

Yep. 2 valves per cylinder, just like the Monster. In fact, it is the same, or damn near the same, engine as the 900 Monster. Definitely a good ride.

Then there is also this one:

Newer and a lot less miles on it. Just for comparison, price wise & otherwise.

You feeling ok Mac? Looks like this bike has about 20k more miles than the older one. Too many beers the other night maybe?
