Default Montreal F1

Plan to make a bit of a vacation out of it. Haven't been to an F1 race in a while, used to go to Silverstone every year, made the pilgrimage to Monte Carlo.

Recommend any hotels in the area? General admission or seating?

I have stayed at the Clarion several years in a row. It is within walking distance to the subway and far enough to get a quiet night's sleep.

Check out grand stands 15, 21, 22, 24 and 31. The other end (GS 11 and 12) is a long walk away. You will also encounter narrow paths and large crowds going that direction.

And take the ferry off the island after the race or be prepared to wait a *long* time to get on the subway.

Yeah, be prepared for some ridiculous traffic that week, I suggest you park your vehicle and walk as much as possible.
