Default Bike Friendly Hotel in Montreal Recommendation Needed

Greetings: I will be visiting Montreal in late July or early August and will travel from Boston, MA on my ST4S.
Can someone recommend a bike friendly hotel where the Duc will be safe while we play tourista? I speak fluent French if that helps.
Thanks, John Symonds

The last group that came up stayed at the Clarion on Maisonneuve, though they had to deal with a frighteningly steep ramp going in and out of the underground parking garage.

Be sure to give us a shout when you are in town! My cell is 514 217 8391 if you want to reach me, our meetings are the second tuesday of each month, so if you are around during that time you'd be more than welcome to join us.

I was in that group.

The ramp wasn't so bad, just don't try your front brake on the way down, oh and don't stop on the way up! Otherwise it was really good knowing that the bikes were secure and out of the public eye. The rooms were good and if you're not staying there during F1 weekend like we were, the rates aren't too bad (IMO). Not to mention that it's close by one of the best hosts/tour gides in the area *cough*Jason*cough*. [thumbsup]

Yeah, I literally live two blocks away from the Clarion so it's easy to meet up if you stay there.

+1 on Jason's hospitalityaciousness.

The Clarion's garage is very bike friendly (once you actually find the entrance).
