Cool! I like that model. Very nice. Actually, I like it even better than the new S4R 2007.

That was a nice bike, I remember it from one of last year's meetings. Have fun with it, if you need desmoquattro advice I have a 916 and Olivier used to have an S4.

So are you going to swap some of the gear from the 750 over to the S4? Termis and mirrors and stuff? BTW which mirrors are those? Very nice [thumbsup]

It looks like the S4 a fresh canvas.... what are your plans for her?

Thanks for the comments guys !!! I'm really thrilled with my purchase ;D. I was in need of a little more power and ... DRY CLUTCH !!! >

I'll just have to take the time to get used to that power . 65HP -> 101HP, 45ft-lbs -> 70ft-lbs (Mike said it was dynoed by the previous owner at 110HP at the wheel when cstum mapped)

Yes, the S4 is sort of a fresh canvas. Well, it is to me as it came with a lot of mods I was gonna perform . Here's a list of some of them :

- Arrow high mount carbon round exhaust
- PCIII with custom map
- BCM air filter
- Evo clutch slave cylinder
- CF rad guards
- DP CF side covers
- CF rear hugger, CF sprocket cover (weren't those stock ??)
- DP tear drop mirrors
- Sargeant seat
- Emissions removed
- K&N breather filter
- 39T rear spkt
- Cycle Cat side stand
- ... ...

I have all the stock parts and many extra bits and pieces .

Indeed, I will be swapping as many parts possible from the 750 but the Termis won't fit (damn it > ). Here's a list of upcoming mods :

- Open air box
- Termi low mount carbon oval exhaust (looking to trade for the Arrows if anyone knows someone)
- Tail chop
- CA integrator LED board
- Pressure plate (gotta love dry clutch porn ;D )
- Clutch cover
- Rizoma Circuit 998 mirrors
- Remove : hugger, side covers, windscreen (unsure)
- Reposition : wires, horns
- Billet sprocket cover
- Bucci crankcase breather valve
- CC clip-ons (not sure yet as the were wrist breakers on the 750 but freakin' hot looking > )
- ................ I'm still on the student budget :-[

Eventually :

- SPS Cams
- Ohlins front and rear
- Full Termi

I can't wait to drive her !!! Just the ride from Mike's to my place was a thrill. She is a blast !!! It felt like she had infinite power !!! I know I know, you guys are used to it with your 916, S4Rs, S4R's ... [laugh] [laugh]

I'll try to see if I can make it on two wheels on the May meeting [thumbsup]

That's awesome, it has most of the important stuff done to it already 110hp at the wheel is definitely possible with mild tuning. Opening up the airbox will help power too, it makes a substantial difference on ST4s with the same motor. There are plenty of tuning options out there if your wallet can stand it.

Be sure to watch the K&N breather, when they get saturated with oil they mist the rear wheel, so you have to make sure you don't overfill the oil or let the K&N filter get dirty.

Hope to see you out and about, we have an event in the works for May to celebrate the new season.

Yeah, I forgot to add that I will be installing my Bucci crankcase breather valve so the oil don't mist the rear wheel.

If I open my airbox, she will have to be remapped but is there a certain amount of holes I can drill in the airbox to avoid a remapping ?

I'm not very used to Power Commanders, can I tune it myself to match the open airbox ?

Thanks [thumbsup]

Can't wait for the season to start .... freakin' snow > > > >
