Hi All!

I just became the proud owner of a 2003 M800 Dark!* Actually, I'm not technically the owner yet, but hey...

I'm located in Gatineau, Qc, but buying the bike from a Montrealer, and I should be picking it up on Saturday.

I will have to get set on insurance this week, anyone have recommendations?* BTW I did see the older thread about insurance, but 1) I wanted to introduce myself properly and 2) ressucitating threads is generally frowned upon on most board... didn't want to get started on the wrong foot! Also I called Filion&Filion mentionned in the thread, but the $920/year quote they gave me (only 1 side!) did not impress me too much...

I hope you can help me!

Sorry, I won't be making it to the meeting tomorrow. I probably won't be extremely active as far as meetings go, espescially if they are held during the week (I'm approx. 200kms from Mtl). I hope to join you guys if you go for a ride sometime. You should come to the Gatineau Park during the fall it's awesome...

Also, an acquaintance of mine has a 620, I'm not sure if she knows of this site, but I'll let her know about it.

Yup, that's her! I found that out earlier today.

You should definitely let us know if you plan on coming to the area. It's only 2h from Mtl by the Highway (40 and 417), or you could also take the 148, there a few nice towns along the way (Montebello and Plaisance come to mind).

I'm sure we'll have the opportunity to meet and ride soon!
