L.A. Italian Bike Day?

...Hi there fellow Ducati riders,
my name is Luca (and I don’t live on the second floor ), some of you know me from the forum some of you I know personally. As some of you know back in November I came up with the idea of having an Italian Bike Night II in Santa Monica inspired by what was already happening in the OC at Italian Bike Night run by Massimo.

I was just yesterday talking with Nick, who sponsors LADN, and I proposed him to get together and try to organize an ITALIAN BIKE DAY probably September 10th weekend.

The event would probably consist in 2 days activities and would take place in a big parking lot somewhere along the coast.

PRIMO GIORNO:

- member presentation/registration
- attend workshop of some kind ( valve adjustment, how to chose the correct tire, helmet etc.)
- visit stands and check out new bikes, leathers, apparel
- big, and I mean big, BBQ

SECONDO GIORNO:

- escorted ride "around the block" or something
- at 16:00 Mto GP from Japan (MOTEGI)
- test drive some bikes
- BBQ


Just want to feel the pulse and see what you folks think about it and if any of you was able to provide some "help"....
