Ducati Rider Dead in East Bay
A rider was killed last night in a solo accident after leaving a party, he was allegedly riding a Ducati 900 Super Sport. He was traveling on Westbound Pine Valley Road and hit at tree in the island in the middle of the "roundabout" at Westside Drive. The bike was found in second gear.
There was a short blurb about it in the paper:
"San Ramon
Motorcycle accident victim identified
Authorities on Monday identified a man who died in an apparent motorcycle accident as a 42-year-old San Ramon resident.
Kelly Matlock was found by police Sunday night on Pine Valley Road after a woman called about 8:45 p.m., saying she saw him on the ground near his bike, said San Ramon police Sgt. Bani Kollo.
Investigators believe Matlock lost control of the motorcycle while traveling westbound near Westside Drive and crashed into a median.
No one witnessed the accident, Kollo said."
