Add SOLD to the title when it sells
Just a suggestion to prevent needless back & forth.
Also helpful to put WTB: as the first part of your message if you Want To Buy something.

Re: Add SOLD to the title when it sells
Only a forum admin can delete a topic, and there's no way to automagically delete a thread after a certain number of days. There is a global delete after X number of days, but then we lose a lot of great old posts.
Maybe the new forum software will give us a bit more control.

Re: Add SOLD to the title when it sells
was never sure how to do that.
Though my first post was to sell an item, I'm in no hurry to leave!

Re: Add SOLD to the title when it sells
It would be easy to go through all the classified posts and delete the old ones but it will kill some member's post counts, which I am assuming may be an issue for some?
If I get the thumbs up from above, I can start cleaning up shop.

Re: Add SOLD to the title when it sells
It would be great if you could make a rule.. just like til "sold" one..
fx.
S: (Sell)
B: (Buy)
T: (Trade)
And what does "WTB - " means?
Thanks from Denmark

Re: Add SOLD to the title when it sells
WTB = Want to buy
WTT = Want to Trade
FS = For Sale
There are plenty of other variations, but they can be figured out (Like FT probably means For trade, etc)

Got to your original post, click the Modify button, then change the Subject: line to include SOLD.

Hey Kris,
You don't see the modify button to the right of the message title?
(like this)
