Fun fun fun... We couldn't ask for better weather! I kept the monster upright all day. Now... on the track is another story. I went off 3 times, yes you read correctly 3.
1st was turn one, I got passed on the outside toward the end of the turn and it startled me. So I decided to do some off-roading cause I totally blew the turn.
2nd was top of turn 5 going down the hill I was daydreaming? I don't know next thing I know I caught some air and road down the hill.
3rd time I caught a false neutral going into 14 and ran way wide.

Once I got all that past me, calmed down a little and really started to focus I was doing better. I was just trying to be smooth and learn the track.
I got the bike suspension set up by Dave Moss. He was very nice and it was worth every penny.
4 the riders took great pics.. now if I could just move my butt off the seat and get the knee closer to the ground they would be better.
The food at lunch was really good. Everyone was really nice. I started getting tired in the afternoon so I called it quits somewhat early. I didn't get that much sleep the night before because getting the bike ready and it took longer then I thought it would.

To sum it up I am glad I went

Yowza! Three times?!?! you're gonna need knobbies soon!

You will eventually get used to people riding close, VERY close, to you one the track. Look for stitching details particular to the individual leather manufacturers to pass the time. If they get too close, hit their kill switch.

Turn 5: If you turn early you will wind up all wonky on the inside of the turn on the other side of the hill. You will be pointed straight for the dirt at that point. Dig deep for inner strength...charge up the hill to the second white mark on the right (you'll see which one I mean). Don't brake, the hill will scrub off speed. When you get to that turn in point, flick the bike. You will wind up on the outer portion of the downhill. There is a landmark tank on the horizon if you like. Anyway, once you do that, the turn feels pretty good and you can pass people on 5A from Hell to breakfast, cuz a lot of them will be dealing with being pointed straight at dirt.

Not too many folks like T14 for some reason.

Nice pics! And, yes, Dave Moss does an excellent job with suspension. When's the next track day? One more thing...I usually take a couple tylenol PM's and a shot at bedtime the night before a track day. Try it
