Default Here! Here! for Grio!!

Nina,
Very glad to hear you could ride away from your havok over the weekend. It wouldn't just be a mess of oil on my bike tire if I went sliding through a high-speed corner like that. [thumbsup]

Thanks guys...
Repeat after me: "I love my throttle; it cures what is wrong in the world"

Actually, I think my mind just processes too slow to panic. That prolly saves my butt more often than not.

not true at all...

Hey, just noticed by the way - your sig... without any Italian language background, I want to translate this as 'Eat My Dust' - would that be at all accurate?? If so...
should you now adjust to properly account for oily bits? ;D

By the way - you accounted for an empty track behind you, but were there any unfortunate sorts that got 'caught' in the slick?

Cromo:
Yup...eat my dust is the correct translation.
No body crashed on my oil. One person claimed to have slid on my kitty litter, but I think that was just a pick-up line.

I had a similar thing happen when I was younger, but I knew the bike was leaking oil onto the tire. We were running alcohol in the motor and sliding all over the streets, trying to have fun. We figured the motor was junk and well...

We ended finding out that the old filter gasket was the culprit after we destroyed a perfectly good bike. :'(

Oh, it was, but we were so embarrassed when the rest of our friends found out that our practice bike was ruined because of it.
