Monterey/Salinas - This Weekend...

Alright - I'm heading to Salinas on Friday and hanging out all weekend. Wife is visiting her sister and bringing our kids... So I decided to go too (I usually don't) and take the Monster. They plan on doing the usual visit-the-family stuff - and I plan to RIDE.

Anyone care to meet up for some grub and a beer? I'll roll into Cannery Row sometime on Saturday...

I am here in monterey & I'm up for a ride sometime this weekend. Right now I'm trying to get something together with a riding buddy of mine & his friend from Oregon. Lets see if we can put something together between our schedules that works.

Cool. I'm in Salinas right now - and DA*N its cold. I guess I'm accustomed to getting up with the sun shining and sipping my coffee as the morning is "warming" up. [laugh] (I'm from Vacaville)

Anyhow, I will be visiting the Ducati dealer in Seaside this morning. Then at 1pm, I may be riding with my brother-in-law (not sure what kind of ride he had planned, but I'm not expecting too much). But maybe we can hook up somehow and for a real ride...

We did take G16 (from 68) while I was there - a nice little twisty taking us into Carmel Valley. But I forgot how cold, foggy and damp the weather can be there.

I headed home on Sunday. Took 1 all the way up to SF. I'll be better prepared for the cold the next time...
