Default parking lot drills !

Update: I took a look at teh area shown on the map last night. The lot is chained off and in disrepair. We will be meeting there and heading 1/4 mile down the road to a nicer, (hopefully shadier) empty lot.

So far we have and R1, a BMW S90, 3-4 monsters, and some kind of Kawi. I've got a few nice "cleaning out my garage" gifts for worthy participants, so see you there tonight!

I'm thinking of the week of May 7 through 11, maybe 5:30 - 7:30, location most likely Mather Field parking lot.
Agenda would cover emergency braking drills, slow speed/tight turning maneuvers, and quick turning at lower speeds.

Any interest? Any suggestions? Any day better than another?

Mather Field? As in where they hold the MSF classes? Put me down as interested, though I won't be available on the 10th or 11th.

Sadly I am still working 3:30pm - 12am so I can't make it. Maybe another time.

OK:
Mather airport parking lot Wed., May 9 at 5:30 - 8:00pm. (can be changed to Tues, May 8th if needed).

Mather feild is roughly at Hwy 50 and Mather Feild Road. I was told by MSF instructors long ago that there are huge expanses of tarmac with MSF markings already down. I will be bringing temporary marker paint and cones. Details on exact location on the blacktop later this week/weekend.

Here's a mapquest link.

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe the MSF course is just off Skymaster Way on Mather Field.

I just went and checked. The red box on the map below shows the lot MSF uses at Mather.
